DEMOCRAT’S PLAN FOR THE ECONOMY?

It seems reasonable to expect to come away from a nationally televised PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE with a pretty good idea of what the candidates propose for America’s economic future.

So what was revealed about our nation’s economic future if we put one of them in office? Several noticeable things came out of Tuesday’s debate:

  1. Not one definitive statement was made regarding HOW economic growth would be stimulated and sustained. Not one.
  2. Every candidate generalized about growing government, taking away individual freedoms, raising taxes, adding regulations to our already over-regulated businesses, and encouraging citizens to depend more on the government.
  3. All the candidates advocate for “Medicare-for-All”. Trusted Think Tanks have estimated the cost to be 3.3 trillion dollars per year. That is almost exactly the amount collected in taxes by IRS in 2018. Nobody suggested how our nation could survive a 100% increase in expenses.
  4. Another idea proposed was the Green New Deal. It would cost $9T ($9,000,000,000,000) and get rid of airline travel, cow flatulence, and a bunch of other stuff. So there’s a 300% increase in annual expenses.
  5. Many candidates want to get rid of President Trump’s tax cuts and increase taxes for the wealthy. Simple math shows a 100% tax on the rich would not pay for Medicare for all, let alone the Green New Deal. 29 yers ago Europe had 12 nations with a “Wealth Tax”. Today all but three of those nations have replaced the law because all it did was prompt rich people to move out of the country. That really only leaves the middle class to fund all these Socialist programs.
  6. Not one candidate mentioned the elephant in the room shouting that today’s U.S. economy is in better shape than it has been in decades. Unemployment is at a 50-year low. Wages are going up at 3.5% per year. These facts did not come up in questioning or responding.
Democrat candidates are all Socialists. More, bigger government is NOT the solution, it is the problem.
