One of the most respected commentators on Russia, the EU and the US, Mary Dejevsky has worked as a foreign correspondent all over the world, including Washington, Paris and Moscow. She now writes a weekly column and makes regular contributions to UK and international radio and television. She is a member of the international foreign affairs think-tank, Chatham House, the Valdai Group of international Russia specialists and the Franco-British Council. She also sits on the advisory board of the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London.

Mary, a long-time supporter of Hillary the politician says, “I’m a Hillary Clinton fan. But I hope she bows out with grace… she is a hugely divisive figure, including within her own party – and not primarily because she is a woman.”

“Clinton’s chief liability, though, is the baggage she carries of her own.” adds Dejevsky, “This includes the matter of that private email she used while secretary of state, and her handling of the murder of the US ambassador in Libya.”

There’s more from Mrs. Clinton’s faithful supporter:

“If she wins the nomination, her health issue will not be off limits.”

“it is now time to call it quits, while the decision is still hers to make.”

“She can cite personal reasons, or the hope that she has left time for another woman – Massachusetts senator Elizabeth Warren, or health secretary, Kathleen Sebelius – to run. But call it quits she should, unbeaten.”

Run for the exit Hillary, not for President.
