A Conservative Tea Party lawmaker in Michigan who had an extramarital affair with a fellow married legislator said she will not resign. She, and her lover, claim to be Christians.

“I intend to continue to represent my district to the best of my ability, and I look forward to re-engaging with my constituents in the days ahead.”

The two are are subjects of a House investigation into whether they misused public resources to hide their relationship and fired an aide who refused to help.

The man in this lurid affair confessed to sending a false, sexually explicit email claiming he was caught with a male prostitute to make the affair less believable if discovered. He says a “blackmailer” demanded that he resign or be exposed.He apologized but said he too would not resign.

Will the Conservative voters and political leaders wink at this just like the Liberals winked at Hillary’s husband’s escapades in the Oval Office?
