Regarding immigration control it is important to recognize the the difference between control methods. There is Clerical (forms & Red Tape) , and there is Construction (concrete, rebar, and razor wire).
During the month of February, 2019 a record number of foreign citizens were apprehended on American soil AFTER they sneaked into America by finding a hole in the fence and bypassing the Clerical barrier.
76,325 individual citizens of other countries became residents of the United States during the 28 days of February 2019. That’s 2,725 successful illegal entries a day! Not since 2008 have the numbers been that high. At this rate the number of infiltrators is 1 million a year!
