The 116th Congress is underway and the Democrats have launched a two-pronged attack.
The old fogies are battling to keep our Southern border unsecured while the newbies play “Congress Is Fun”.
Following is one example–for your reading pleasure– of what the new Democrats bring to the table. . .
A plan to make America green again has been introduced in the House by a wild-eyed woman from New York (no, not Hillary) named Ocasio-Cortez. Her proposal would cost more that the entire Gross Domestic Production (GDP) of China and Japan combined! It would cost enough to build 3,600 border walls, or 1,300 aircraft carriers! She calls her plan The Green New Deal.
So, this sort of thing is what we can expect until the 117th Congress takes-over on Jan. 3, 2021.
