Make America GOOD Again?

Alexis De Tocqueville toured America in 1831. He was a French political scientist seeking to know the secret of our nation’s rise to power. In his writing he concluded, “. . . if America ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great.”
Is the reason America ceased to be great that she ceased to be good? If so, perhaps our red* baseball caps should say, “MAKE AMERICA GOOD AGAIN”.
Voting Americans—the group that truly determines the course of our nation– are currently split down the middle. 46% of voters consistently support either Liberal Democrat ideology (Global Warming, government funded abortion on demand, open borders, etc.), or the Conservative, traditional agenda which is the one that made America good (great) in the first place. [The remaining 8% of voters are usually undecided until they step-into the voting booth.] We sing the song “God Bless America” asking God to crown our good with brotherhood, but, in reality, we are a nation divided.
*Disregard the current campaign to advance the Liberal agenda by wearing blue caps saying “Make America Good Again”.
