People in-charge say Chief Wahoo , born in 1947, has just one year to live.

According to the American Psychological Assn. Chief Wahoo portrays Native Americans in a way that makes it, “. . . difficult for them to present accurate and respectful images of their culture, spirituality and traditions.”

The 72 year-old icon of the Cleveland Indians baseball team has never shown signs of aging. He looks as youthful today as he did in 1948, the last time the Indians won the World Series.

But youthful looks are not enough to beat Political Correctness. The Chief has been called a contemporary example of prejudice by a dominant culture, and so, he must give way to make room for a simple block letter “C”. The people in-charge hope a single letter will not offend anyone.

The Liberals have enjoyed very few victories since November of 2016, but this is one for them to savor.
