The current Congress– the 115th– consists of the Senate (50 seats) and the House of Representatives (435 seats).
Convened on January 3, 2017 the 115th will be in power until January 3, 2019. The election to determine the next (116th) Congress will be in November of 2018.
Currently the Republicans have a majority in both the Senate (52R, 46D,2I [both Independents vote Democrat]), and The House (241R, 194D).
To take control (51) of the Senate the Dems need to take 3 of the 8 Republican held seats up for election in 2018.
To take control (218) of The House the Dems need to take 24 of the 241 Republican held seats up for election in 2018.
Exercise your privilege as an American citizen to Register and vote to continue making America great again. Vote against Democrat and RINO candidates.
