“GA VOTE IS A TRUMP REFERENDUM”– DEMS

Democrats claimed early that the vote to elect a new Representative in Georgia would be a Referendum for President Trump. They were confident the vote count would show the people’s dislike for Trump.
Having said that, the Dems set-out to win the election by hook or by crook. Cash came-in from outside the state at the rate of 97-cents out of every dollar. Final war chest tallies are estimated at $40M!
Well, the election is history and the “referendum” has given President Trump a huge victory.
For the Democrats the final tab is pretty grim. Assuming they spent $30M (probably much more in actuality), they paid $262 per-vote. Since they lost by 13,000 votes it looks like they didn’t “buy” enough votes.
But, then again, maybe Georgia voters were not up for sale. Maybe the Democrats were right about the election result being an indicator of the level of people’s support for the Trump presidency!
