A HATE CRIME AND A TERRORIST ACT

A hate crime is defined as: A crime motivated by racial, religious, gender, sexual orientation, or other prejudice.

Terrorism is defined as:  The systematic use of  violent or destructive acts in order to intimidate a population or government.

It is not difficult to fit both of those definitions into the motivation behind the shooter at the Congressional baseball team practice yesterday.

The avid Bernie Sanders supporter shot as many people–after confirming that they were Republicans– as he could before the D.C. police gunned him down. So there is the HATE motivation.

As for terrorism, it fits logically that the shooter was meaning to intimidate Trump supporters which he assumed all Republicans are.

We are seeing the logical progression of hatred from such slogans as “Never Trump”, “Not My President”, “I Am the Resistance”, etc. to the horrific shooting on D.C. baseball diamond.

The DNC, and all Democrat leaders, need to step-up and demand better behavior from their followers… and from themselves.

This isn’t Trumps fault.
