After replacing one disgraced woman with another disgraced woman the DNC decided they are ready for their first Latino (Dominican) leader and gave the chair to Obama’s Sec. of Labor Tom Perez. Rep. Ellison grabbed the chance to occupy (no offense to the Occupy Movement) the Deputy Chair.

35 votes for Perez remained after the other 400 votes cancelled-out each other. That’s a slim margin of victory of just 8%, a vital indicator of a divided party.

Perez lost-out to Tim Kaine (ouch!) in the battle for the number two spot on the 2016 Democratic ticket.

In the last decade (read “The Obama Years) the Democrats have lost a thousand seats from the Senate, House, and State Governors. The power deficit is greater now than it has been in 90 years! With this downward spiral in mind you might think they would spend less time opposing EVERY move President Trump makes, and offer some positive, constructive leadership for America.

According to David Fredrick, “Without Ellison as DNC chair, there is little hope for reforming the party into something more progressive before 2018 — and possibly no hope of reform at all.”
