The NY Times said Trump is going to reopen certain CIA facilities to “detain and torture” terrorist suspects.
The White House press secretary said this about the alleged draft executive order titled Detention and Interrogation of Enemy Combatants… “It is not a White House document. I have no idea where it came from.”
So, either the NYT is being lax, whether unknowingly or intentionally, in their verification of information prior to publishing, or, the White House is lying. I’m going with the former.
