Now, nine years later ISIS has taken control of the city.
Six of those 9 years have been under the current Liberal administration, whose chief spokesperson, Barack Hussein Obama, says this is NOT a sign that ISIS is winning.
ISIS has also taken Palmyra, Syria and now controls 50% of that nation.
The Pentagon says there are no plans to alter current strategies for dealing with ISIS.
Maybe the President is following advice from Publicus Syrus in his Moral Sayings written in 50BC… “Whatever you lose reckon of no account.”
