This time Hillary has used the phone to avoid making a live campaign appearance.

She called CNN to answer a claim that she engaged in Pay-For-Play while serving as Sec. of State. The accusation is based upon a confirmed statistic showing a suspiciously high percentage (50% +) of face-to-face interactions between Madam Secretary and folks who made sizeable ($1M+) cash donations to the Clinton family non-profit*.

Again, taking the tone of “What difference at this point does it make?”, Hillary’s answer was, “… a lot of smoke but no fire.”

*A 2013  report showed just 10% of the “charitable gifts” received went to charity. 90% went to “administrative costs”.
