Things are getting silly in Philly.

Mentioning certain subjects is apparently forbidden by The Committee.

For example, a mother of one of the victims of the recent Islamic terrorist attack on a Florida nightclub was invited to speak at the convention. Since her son died at the hands of an Islamic gunman who was unleashing a lethal attack on innocent, unprotected, non-combatants, all the requirements for properly using the phrase “Islamic Terrorism” were present.

However, the grieving Mother did not utter the words “Islam, Islamic, terror, or terrorist.” She spoke only of the gun used by the Islamic terrorist. “It shot 30 bullets a minute!”, she said (inaccurately) while delivering her scripted message obviously meant to promote gun control. It seems, by her script, that no one was holding the gun and firing it, somehow it acted on its own.

The Mother’s story was about the massacre of innocent people by an act of terrorism committed by an Islamic man, but she never mentioned any of that, she spoke only about the danger of guns and the virtues of homosexuality.
