In November of 2015 the House of Representatives handily approved H.R.4028, a bill called The America SAFE Act. See the video below.

Then it was on to the Senate for the bill which would require background checks and individual sign-offs from three high-ranking federal officials before any refugee from Syria or Iraq could come to the United States.

With the cooperation of some Republican Senators the Democrats were able to kill the bill. The vote was held yesterday. The final tally of 55-43 stopped the bill dead. 60 votes were needed to continue.

Barack Hussein would not have gotten this legislative victory without Republican help.
