Dirty Dozen– The Liberal Traits

- Utopian, delusional thinking. Belief that they know simple solutions for every social problem.
- Ignorance of historical knowledge and perspective. Willingness to repress evidence that refutes their illusion of how things are.
- Accept and promote the idea that the government can cure all problems because all human beings are subject to behavioral manipulation. Emphatic denial of free will, personal conscience, and objective morality.
- Anti-God antagonism often to the extent of hatred of all religion. This leads to a deep longing for a substitute religion, or a messiah. May openly accept more primitive pantheistic, neo-pagan, or animist belief systems.
- Belief that mankind is evil and nature is benign. See mankind as a cancer on earth and that the planet will “retaliate.” Typically believe in natural selection.
- Chaotic, unreasonable, or incoherent episodes of activity on behalf of the environment or “mother nature.” Attacks on works of man. Focus on visible or totemic biological objects of little rational value.
- Tend to strive for excessive control over others through state intrusion. Typically want the state to appropriate your wealth while imagining themselves to be generous and “compassionate” when their caring generosity is virtually non-existent.
- Passionate advocacy of government-enforced discrimination based on sex or race. Aggressively opposed to policies which they deem racist, or sexist. Obsessive conformity of thought within a racially diverse population. Consider it impossible that those they deem to be oppressed could themselves be racist or sexist.
- Excessive concern with how a social action “looks” or “feels,” to the exclusion of actual resulting benefits or harm. Resistance to, and denial of, objective evidence proving the adverse consequences of progressive policy. Rely on the “feel” of issues rather than truly understanding them. Obsession with “fairness” or “social justice” even if it doesn’t actually work.
- Obsession with sexual and gender roles. Celebration of nontraditional sex roles and preferences. Compulsion to define individuals by their “sexual preference.” Inordinate interest in preserving inappropriate, lewd, perverse, or antisocial forms of sexual expression.Fascination with immature or deviant expressions of sexuality; reduction of human sexuality to animal sexuality. Label any opposing views as “phobic”. Obsession with reproductive freedom.
- Replacement of patriotism with matriotism: Unwillingness to defend country when attacked or threatened. Inability to name or recognize evil. General devaluation of the masculine virtues.
- Cultural and moral relativism: The fervent belief that all cultures are beautiful except one’s own, and that it is immoral to judge another’s morality… unless they are conservative. (See entire article HERE)
