The second month of the Muslim lunar calendar is Safar. Its literal meaning is “empty”, a reference to the vacancy resulting from the many who have gone-off to battle the infidel enemies of Muhammad. The figurative meaning of the word is “whistling wind”, symbolic of the only sound heard in a village missing its occupants.

The month is named after Safwan, a town in southern Iraq where, in 623 AD, Muhammad ordered the first offensive raid by an organized Islamic force. Such an action is called a “ghazva”. (Safwan is the site of cease-fire negotiations led by America’s Gen. Schwarzkopf.)

Friday, November 13, 2015, date of the ghavzas in Paris, coincided with the first day of Safar.

Barack Hussein Obama assured the world that Jihad is contained. He is out of touch with reality and too busy dealing with mythical global warming. Sadly the agenda being dictated by the authors of Liberal Doctrine does not include defending ourselves against clear and present danger.
