Many Christians have been expecting a development like this for some time. One of the books in the Bible, which contains 66 separate books, 39 designated The Old Testament, and 27 called The New Testament, speaks of a time when people will not be able to participate in commercial activity without a “Mark”. This mark will serve as proof that the bearer has submitted to the demands of Satan, aka The Devil, or The Beast.
With the advent of microchips it has become largely accepted amongst Christians that the Mark Of The Beast will be an implanted chip.
So, this chap in England having his bank card chip surgically implanted is kind of a big deal.
