Political strategy not logic based.
Example:
A viral pandemic is underway when an affordable and effective (99%) treatment is discovered.
At this point logic would indicate that the medicine should be mass produced and distributed worldwide as a safe and effective way to end active infections and stop further spreading of the virus. Case closed!
However, non-logic based Politics indicates that the medicine should be ignored and sequestered from the public. Already in-place measures, although proven ineffective, should continue without interruption. Case continuing!
HERE is the miracle cure for the CCP virus.
Such is the reality in today’s America.
