Consistent with Liberal doctrine the administration has promised the U.S. will reduce its carbon emissions by 27% by 2025. This in order to combat man-made climate change.
Fact 1: Nothing was said in the announcement about how the draconian goal will be met. It is probably not possible to do without negatively impacting the economy.
Fact 2: Lower U.S. carbon emissions does not mean an improved global environment. Other nations with far fewer restrictions will offset America’s 27% reduction in very short time. Net zero.
Fact 3: 27% lower U.S. carbon emissions means U.S. businesses will move offshore to find less restrictive regulations causing a substantial rise in U.S. unemployment.
Fact 4: Global energy needs are expected to grow 37% by 2040 offsetting the relatively small U.S. reduction.
Fact 5: Global temperatures have not risen in the last 18 years. We may be tilting at windmills.
Fact 6: Focusing time and money entirely on carbon reduction will put the U.S. far behind in the race for viable energy options.
