Merry Christmas to a covicted killer?
Harlem’s 68th District is virtually certain to get a new representative in the New York State Assembly come January.
The historic event will be the first time a convicted killer will serve in that capacity.
America is a land of second chances and this fellow has gotten his share of them.
Eddie Gibbs has been convicted of domestic abuse, drug dealing, and manslaughter for which he served 5-1/2 years in prison.
The Democrat Party has given Gibbs the nomination which is, historically, a slam-dunk victory in the district.
Imagine having a seated lawmaker who is prohibited from owning a firearm.
