There are some things we should know, but don’t because we think our attention is not required.

Everyone has alloted much of their information storage ability to irrelevant stuff. That is bad knowledge budgeting.

Things politicians do is one of the subjects most people either don’t care about, or they trust their elected representatives to not let anything terribly inefficient, or unproductive be done. We don’t use much of our knowledge budget for such things.
