History is full of stark examples of Socialism being a fatally flawed idea. American history begins with such a story. The Pilgrims were nearly eradicated because Creators had no incentive and were discouraged by the social contract to which everyone subscribed.

Societies are made-up of three types of people: Destroyers; Users; and Creators. Socialism claims to bundle all three types together into one, with everyone enjoying an equal share in the results of the combined efforts of all. Not Equal Opportunity, but Equal Outcome.

Equal Outcome is a poor substitute for Equal Opportunity, but it is what the big-government Democrats use to entice Destroyers and Users to vote them into positions of power. They tell folks, “Vote for us and we will make sure you get everything you need!”

There is hope for America this Thanksgiving Day. Hope that American Users and Creators are waking-up to the tangible threat of Socialism, Communism, Liberalism, Progressivism, Globalism, and Elitism being promoted and incorporated by influential members of the Democrat Party.

Thank God for Hope, and for the freedom to register and vote against the enemies of freedom and justice for all.

All these years after the Pilgrims we face the same threat they did… Socialism.
