In Arizona yesterday the Governor signed-into law an order for a cleansing audit of the Early Voter roster for the state. This is simply a measure to confirm the eligibility of all the names that are now on the list which has been growing since 1992. In those 29 years it is certain that some folks have moved away, died, or been convicted of a felony. Those names, and any others not qualified to be there will be removed. Simple, fair, and reasonable, right?… Wrong! (according to the Democrats)!

In a 16-14 party-line vote, SB 1458 became law. The 14 Democrats argue that the law will “purge over 120,000 eligible Arizona voters” from the early voting list. They claim that the bill will “threaten” the early ballots of millions of Arizona voters, and will disproportionately impact low-income, black, latino, and Native American voters. Democrats imply that any names erased from the list will be “eligible Arizona voters”. That is an intentional distortion of facts, (How could they possibly know that?).

Democrats say the law will “threaten” millions of voters. That is an intentional misrepresentation of the truth.

Democrats claim the law is prejudiced against non-Whites. That is a blatant lie.

Democrats are not constrained by facts, or by truth. From City Councils to Washington D.C. Democrats will say ANYTHING to get what they want. In this case they want as many people voting for them as possible… eligible voters or not!
