At 10:00 P.M. election observers were ordered to leave due to a burst pipe. With all observers gone boxes of ballots were pulled from under shrouded tables and run through counting machines. Some ballots were run through more than once. All this took place after it was announced that all counting would stop while the observers were absent. This mysterious effort involved 15 to 20 thousand ballots.
