GOOD THING WE ARE NOT A DEMOCRACY*

Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) says, “A one-time, twelve-hundred-dollar check isn’t going to cut it. Americans need sustained cash infusions for the duration of this crisis.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT caucuses with Democrats) have repeatedly advocated for regular payments from the public treasury to the people.
