MEMO FOR 2022 ELECTION

Each American voter must decide how to cast their vote. The following information is offered to aid in that process.
On January 26, 2021 five Republican Senators voted to proceed with the Impeachment of former Republican President, now private citizen, Donald J. Trump. All 50 Democrats voted to continue the unconstitutional effort. They needed only one Republican to vote with them… they got FIVE.
Senators Collins (ME), Murkowski (AK), Romney (UT), Sasse (NE), and Toomey (PA) all joined with the Democrats to proceed in the effort to ban Trump from holding any political office in the future.
If the Republican party does not censure these five for this particular act, then exactly what the party stands for becomes a bit cloudy. It may be time to stop supporting them, to change party registration from Republican to something else, (Independent, Patriot, ??).
Murkowski and Toomey are up for reelection in the upcoming 2022 election. Romney will have run again in the 2024 election. Collins and Sasse won’t be up for reelection until 2026.
