Harvard professor Lawrence Lessig is running a single-issue campaign.

Lessig is focused ONLY on comprehensive campaign finance reform/political gerrymandering.

If elected he would only serve as president for as long as it takes to pass the reforms through Congress. He will then immediately resign and let his vice-president assume office. He has a poll on his website to let voters decide who they want to be his vice-president.

Lessig is one of 142 Democratic candidates who have filed to run for president. He wants to be in the dabates but has not met the DNC requirements.

The DNC said there is still enough time for any candidate to qualify for the debate by getting at least 1% of the responses in a national poll. Lessig is struggling to meet that prerequisite.
