WELCOME TO THE POST-REASON AGE

First, some background, then a question.

Background: Prior to September 22, 1862 Blacks brought from Africa (against their will) to the U.S. were slave laborers. They had no rights, no representation, and no hope. They were considered to be less than human. One hundred days after the 9/22/62 date each one of those African slaves became free person. Their chains were forever removed.

One man led the effort to achieve the new law which set all those slaves free. That man fought for the end of the slave trade in America, and he did it!

That man was assassinated in 1865. His name has been applied to monuments, schools, streets, and even cities across America as a tribute to what he did for Black people (and for other battles he fought).

Question: Why is the school in San Francisco which bears the name of the man renaming itself to no longer include his name?

Give up? They say it’s because… [DRUM ROLL PLEASE]… the man (Abraham Lincoln) did not believe Black lives mattered!
