The Pentagon spent $770,000 per soldier to train and equip 54 Syrian men to oppose the advance of ISIS.

The 54  men were unleashed upon the enemy in July of 2015. 60 DAYS LATER all but 4 or 5 of them had been killed, captured, or had deserted.

So that’s how $41.8 million of the  $500 million dollars allotted to the program were spent.

The original plan for the $500M was to train and equip 5,400 Syrians.

At the present rate of production– 4 or 5 soldiers per $41.8M– the budget will be exhausted with just 48 to 60 troops ready for action. That’s a per-soldier cost of 8.3 to 10.4 million dollars.

Obama’s Sec. of Defense says the program goals will be altered.

It is not known how many ISIS troops were killed by the 54 well-equipped and funded Syrians.
