Obama has been demonstrating since 2008 that the Feds are not the right people to control local energy. Vast amounts of tax money has been wasted chasing-after one boondoggle, like wind power, after another, like solar generation.

This Act is a power grab by the Feds. Energy choice is best left to the States.

According to Nicolas Loris at The Daily Signal, “To increase energy production, create jobs, and grow the economy, Congress should pass reforms that open access to markets, eliminate favoritism for any energy sources and create a regulatory pathway that allows innovative, competitive technologies to flourish, many of which already have bipartisan support”.
