This is the third shutdown to happen in America.

Here are some FACTS from the 2013 (most recent previous) shutdown:

On October 1, 2013 the United States federal government entered a shutdown because legislation appropriating funds for fiscal year 2014 was not enacted, nor was a continuing resolution (temporary fix). Most routine ( aka “expected”) operations were curtailed on that date.

1.800,000 federal employees were furloughed.

2. Another 1.3 million federal employees continued working not knowing when their paycheck would come.

Regular government operations resumed October 17, 2014 when the temporary fix was passed.

Traditionally people blame the President for a shutdown. Folks seem to think, wrongly, that a good President would be able to avert a shutdown. So if your objective is to make the President look bad then a shutdown can serve your purpose. Welcome to January 2018! Democrats poisoned the appropriation bill by including an unrelated provision to allow illegal aliens to continue U.S. residency.

In this 2018 event, for example, the CHIP program, and active duty military people will be listed as collateral damage in this campaign by Democrats to undermine the current administration.

Register and vote against Democrats who promote the Globalist*/Elitist agenda no matter what.
