The Supreme Court , aka SCOTUS, has ruled that all Americans must not oppose, or refuse to participate in, homosexual marriage ceremonies.

RFRA is a state-level law which restores a person’s right to refuse to participate in a transaction which violates that person’s moral and/or spiritual convictions and beliefs.

Such acts must happen at the state level because it is there that persecution and discrimination in the form of fines are being imposed. The issue is homosexual marriage, but could expand to other matters. Click here to find your state representatives. http://openstates.org/find_your_legislator/

The idea behind RFRA protection is, for example, as a farm owner I cannot be fined, or jailed, for refusing to rent-out my meadow to be used as the site for a homosexual wedding, or, as a baker I cannot be punished for refusing to make a cake depicting a homosexual union. (Both of these have actually happened and fines have been imposed).
