If the top people in an organization represent the character of the people they lead, then Democrats surely are a pathetic lot.

Case in point: Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Ranking Member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee suggested we should decimate the 1st Amendment in order to enforce it!? Wait. She said what?

She is really saying we should abridge the freedom of speech when people say things we do not want to hear. Such an act is expressly forbidden by the 1st Amendment. . .

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” — First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America.
