Republican Senators and Representatives who choose alternate transportation rather than The Trump/Pence Train may never arrive at the Reelection Victory Depot.
For example, Arizona’s Sen. Jeff Flake has chosen to oppose the new administration by voting against it and writing a book criticizing it. His latest approval rating among Republican and Independent voters is an unprecedented 18%! (He’s probably more popular than that with Democrat voters.)
Flake’s Republican opponent in the upcoming primary has received a $300,000 donation from billionaire Republican Robert Mercer.
The DNC will target this race with great strategic urgency, looking for an end to their 9-month losing streak at the polls.
Anyway, all you elected Republicans out there… get on board the Trump/Pence Express, or check the classifieds.
