HERE’S A THEORY ABOUT POLLS

[Note: My supposition is that polls are like statistics, which are in-turn like bikinis… what they reveal is less important than what they conceal.]
Anyway, folks who respond to polls fall into one of three groups:
- Liberal. These people represent right-around 46%.
- Conservative. These folks are 46% also.
- Undecided. 8%.
When “the numbers” indicate more than 46% approval either some of the Group 3 people came-down off the fence, or some people switched Groups from 1 to 2, or from 2 to 1.
A recent poll indicates President Trump has a 50% approval rating. (Reported by the anti-Trump NBC network).
For a Conservative to get a 50% positive rating Groups 1 and 3 must have had some defectors. Either some Liberals, or some Undecideds, or a combination of both, APPROVE TRUMP!
Despite the consistent anti-Trump bias in the Liberal media for the last 6-months his Administration is being viewed as favorable by a majority [anything more than 47%] of those polled.
