The First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America has been Law since Sept. 25, 1879.

Today in California it was announced that a qualified speaker (Ann Coulter) has had her Constitutional right to freedom of speech abridged and her right to peaceably assemble interfered with by a hostile group threatening to do unspecified physical harm if she attempts to exercise her lawful rights.

The First Amendment prohibits Congress from making any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

The Governor and the Attorney General of California have taken no action to protect and secure the rights of the qualified speaker.

California is now a rogue state operating outside the Constitution.

Shame on the people of California for tolerating this sad behavior.
