In terms of number of challenges, Lester Holt issued six during the debate Monday night.

Over a 90-minute debate that is an average of one fact-check challenge every 15-minutes. Not too bad!

What is bad–for Holt’s performance score regarding bias– is that ALL SIX CHALLENGES WERE AIMED AT TRUMP!

Despite many blatantly obvious opportunities, not once did Lester challenge Hillary.

As for the integrity of Holt’s challenges, again he gets poor marks. Holt’s molehill-to-mountain efforts were based upon long-past, untimely subjects, but they accomplished their purpose by causing Trump to use valuable time responding. Hillary was not forced to spend one-second of her time responding to moderator challenges.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper and ABC News’ Martha Raddatz will ask the questions during half of the scheduled 90- minutes of the second debate on Oct. 9 in St. Louis. This debate will be like a town hall where the other half of the time will be devoted to questions from the audience made-up of  uncommitted voters selected by the Gallup Organization.

“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace will moderate the third debate, on Oct. 19, in Nevada, following  the same format as Debate #1.

Let’s hope for less bias in the two remaining debates!
