In their April 13 debate, Hillary used Sanders’s anti-Wall Street message against him.

“I’m the only one on this stage who did not vote to deregulate swaps and derivatives which contributed to the collapse…”, said Mrs. Clinton.

She was referring to the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000, for which Rep. Sanders voted. She didn’t think it worth mentioning that she was not a member of the Senate when the Act was being formulated.

What she forgot was that Bill Clinton agreed with the Act and signed it into law.

Her shot from the hip went through Uncle Bernard and hit Bill right in the reputation. Oops.

Ah well, the softball news folks have, once again, given the blunder a free pass.
