ISIS has been run-out of the government headquarters building in Ramadi. That’s a good thing. There will be lots of congratulatory press briefings to declare the effectiveness of Obama’s strategies.

But, as Allen West http://www.allenbwest.com/2015/12/beware-what-obama-says-about-this-victory-over-isis-heres-what-hes-not-saying/ asks, “What’s next?”

In military jargon there’s something called “operational tempo”.  If you have the enemy in retreat and on the run, you press the assault, the attack to crush the enemy’s will to fight and resist, to destroy them — such as what we did to the Iraqi Army on the “Highway of Death” leading out of Kuwait during Operation Desert Storm (see video).  It is in the pursuit phase of an operation where the most casualties are inflicted upon the enemy.

Will Barack Hussein Obama kick ISIS while they’re down? We’ll see.
